The ELYX-5 offers a 20" stride length while the foot plates travel 22" along their elliptical path. The 48.5 lbs. Drive System offers a smooth, fluid, effortless glide providing ultra low impact and natural motion. Footplates have a texture surface to protect against slips and contain maintenance-free, sealed ball bearings to smoothly glide along the chrome rails. The "Q" factor of the ELYX-5 is 2.5 inches for comfort and stability. SIEMENS® electronic LCD computer display provides high resolution and easy to read digital and graphical data. Informative and simple, it provides the following work out data: Speed, RPM, Distance, Time, Energy Consumption, Pulse Rate, and Performance in Watts. The computer display has back lighting allowing for use in dark settings without the need for overhead lighting. It also includes a recovery feature which provides a grading a cardio wellness grading indexed 1 to 6 helping to track improvement, plus a scan function enabling it to rotate the workout information to larger digital readout in the center of the display. The console features a USB port to allow interfacing with a personal computer for operating the WORLD TOURS 1.0 Software.
